The SPECIES Box Mods Zinc Alloy constructed chassis is nicely compact at 82.1mm x 49mm x 30.6mm, with a weight of only 155g. The back of the SPECIES Mod has SMOK’s popular Cobra print that gives this device an extra grip to help prevent it from inadvertently slipping out of your hand.
The SPECIES Mod features a 1.45-inch TFT full-color high definition touch display screen which utilizes an upgraded user interface to provide you with clear, comprehensive data and several available settings as well as output modes. The full color TFT screen displays wattage, resistance, voltage, a puff counter, puff timer, and dual battery life indicators. Available output modes on the SMOK SPECIES 230W TC Box Mod include Variable Wattage mode and Temperature Control mode. Powering the SPECIES 230W TC Kit are dual 18650 batteries (not included) that are installed through a bottom hinged battery access door. SMOK has conveniently given this mod a Micro-USB port to not only charge your batteries but to also upgrade firmware as it becomes available. Safety features of this mod include intelligent atomizer recognition, a puff monitoring system, a ten second cut-off, short circuit protection, overheating protection, and over discharge protection. A center mounted Gold-plated 510 connection allows the SPECIES 230W TC Box Mod to accommodate for 30mm sub ohm vape tanks without too much bulky overhang.
Included in the kit, the SMOK TFV8 Baby V2 Tank features significant structural upgrades from its predecessor, the TFV8 Baby Beast. The included TFV8 Baby V2 tank sports a 5ml capacity tank, thanks to the new pre-installed convex bubble glass. It’s patented "Press-To-Open" rotary hinged Top Fill system features a new locking system to keep your tank securely closed and to prevent leakage. The pre-installed SMOKTech Baby V2 0.17ohm Single Mesh Coil provides massive flavor and cloud possibilities, while the exclusive 16mm wide-bore delrin drip tip tops the tank off with style. The Baby V2 Tank is a perfect match for the SMOK SPECIES 230W TC Box Mod.
